It _is_ possible, since I'm using it (I don't see why it wouldn't be
possible),  although it seems you still would have to apply this
patch

if you want to use instructions (at least in the etna CVS tree, it doesn't seem to be fixed yet,  I didn't check 24.1.12 :-(

This however, has nothing to do with the adeos/rthal issue.
